– The Challenge

In Romania, thousands of children with Down syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorders lack access to early diagnosis, specialized therapies, and adequate medical support, especially outside major cities.

— Our Solution

The LORENZO Medico-Social Center is a dedicated project designed to provide early orientation, therapeutic support, and structured guidance for children with genetic disorders and their families.

— Medical Orientation

The center will guide families toward appropriate pediatric care, early diagnosis pathways, and specialized medical follow-up through collaboration with qualified professionals.

—Therapeutic Support

Children will benefit from access to physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychomotor and occupational therapy, adapted to early childhood development needs.

— Family Support

The project includes psychological support, social guidance, and orientation services to help families navigate medical, administrative, and social challenges.

— Project Impact

The LORENZO Center aims to support up to 3,000 children per year, reduce inequalities in access to care, and create sustainable local employment opportunities.
